From Paris Rive Gauche
From Paris, take the Quai Rive Gauche. Follow signs to Direction Sèvres. Go over the junction leaving the Pont Billancourt on your right. At the next roundabout, turn left, Direction Chaville-Meudon; at the next lights turn right into the Route des Gardes; follow the road uphill, at the third lights you arrive at a big intersection. Go straight to the next lights in the middle of the intersection and turn left into the Ave du Château, a beautiful tree-lined avenue with a stone gateway at the end. Follow this road up and take the second turning on the right into Avenue Marcelin Berthelot. When you reach the next intersection, continue straight on, taking the road diagonally up to the right. There is a sign to the Observatory. Follow the road up, turning the corner, and enter the forest. Go past the entrance to the Observatory on your left, and the Marcel Bec Sports Complex on you right. The Standard Athletic Club is just beyond, on your right.
From Paris Rive Droite
From Paris, take the Quai Rive Droite to Pont de Sèvres, stay in the left-hand lane and join the N118 direction Vélizy. Get off at the first exit Sèvres/Meudon. Turn right at the traffic lights into the Route des Gardes; at the third set of lights, turn right into the Rue de Capucins; at the next intersection go straight on, following the road up to the right into the forest. There is a sign to the Observatory. Go past the entrance to the observatory on your left, the Arc de Seine Sports Club on your right and The Standard Athletic Club is just beyond, on your right.
Getting to the Club by train and on foot
From Paris, Gare Montparnasse
Take the train ‘Reseau Transilien’ to the station called Bellevue. This is the fourth stop after Meudon.
Turn left out of the station and head up the road towards Ave du Château, a beautiful tree-lined avenue with a stone gateway at the end. Follow this road up and take the second turning on the right into Avenue Marcelin Berthelot. When you reach the next intersection, continue straight on, taking the road diagonally up to the right. There is a sign to the Observatory. Follow the road up, turning the corner, and enter the forest. Go past the entrance to the Observatory on your left, and the Marcel Bec Sports Complex on you right. The Standard Athletic Club is just beyond, on your right.
