Members are advised to exercise extreme caution and to follow the recommendations of the Paris Police Prefecture regarding outdoor activities during the current heatwave. In particular, tennis tournament matches and other organised outdoor sporting events should be postponed wherever possible, as the health and safety of participants must take precedence over sporting schedules. Dear Member
The Club has a small team of almost only volunteers who manage sending out and processing subscriptions over the Summer. Last year we received over 200 emails requesting changes to Category, Membership status, lockers and licences.
Please let us know before the 5th of July of any changes you would like to make for you or any member of your family, and we can then issue you with the correct devis/quote and speed up the process.
Please email your changes to .
Please note that category changes that are simply due to age are handled directly by the system and no request needs to be made in this case.
Many thanks in advance for your help with this

President
Join us for a White Dinner and Dance at SAC on Saturday, 27 June.
To celebrate summer in style, the Tennis Committee has the pleasure of organising a delicious three-course BBQ dinner (glass of wine included) in the Rose Garden with dancing afterwards.
Aperitifs -- bar service in the garden -- and dinner follow the prize-giving after the Tennis Tournament Finals.
Everything gets underway at 7:3 pm with dinner around 9 pm.
All members welcome and guests too. And don't forget to dress in white!
Follow this link to sign up: Tennis White Dinner 2026
Or use the QR code in the main article.
The next Little Musicians/Petits Musiciens session will be on Sunday, 28 June, from 11 am to 12:30 pm, with Brunch from 11 am to 2 pm.
Book using this Hello Asso link. Don't forget that if a child is signed up for Breakfast/Brunch together with a parent, they have free access to the 1.5-hour class. If you don’t want to sign up for breakfast/brunch, it is €25 per child for the class. It is easier and cheaper if you reserve your place before Friday evening. Prices are more expensive at the bar on the day, and you risk the class being full.
A) The new Club door
Anyone visiting the Club will have noticed that we have a new door!
Why, and is there anything we need to know?
Why? The old entry had 2 doors and opened/closed automatically by swinging in/out. Unfortunately this design led people to “help” the automatic mechanism by pushing when leaving the Club. The 2 doors also meant we had two mechanisms (which we had to keep for safety compliance) for double the repair cost. All of this meant that the motor was regularly broken leading frequent, inconvenient and expensive (many thousands of €€€s each time) repairs, as well as non-compliance with access regulations. The solution: a sliding door which addresses the compliance issue, while eliminating the temptation to “push” when leaving the Club
Things to know:
1) The installation is ongoing, with the external blind also being repaired today. Please bear with us while the mechanism is tweaked to work with our access badges.
2) And please, DO NOT MANUALLY FORCE THE DOOR. The new design will be less “tempting” than the old one, but can still be broken.
With this new door we will have improved security, compliance with fire regulations and much lower repair costs.
B) The door from Reception to the table tennis area
The glass panel was damaged this weekend, apparently by impacts from stones. This is not the first time this has happened. The repair cost for the cracked glass is, shockingly, €1000. So this makes the repair cost for this door €2000 over the past year.
It will be repaired in the coming days. Without cameras (which we will discuss at the AGM) it is impossible to know exactly how the impacts occurred. Nonetheless, we do know that launching stones with a racquet is a "game" played by some children near the table tennis table. Moreover, a member's car windscreen was recently severely damaged by stones launched from this part of the Club. We are fortunate that the stones have not also hit people.
Obviously, games with flying stones are not permitted in the Club. Thank you for reinforcing this in conversations with your children. If you see any such behaviour, please do contact our staff and/or a Member of the MC.
Thank you.
The Management Committee
On Sunday, 19 April, the adult football team played its last 11-a-side game of the season (we lost 2-3 vs Kerala Tuskers, click to see photo of the team).
Looking back at the season, it was great!
The team is young, happy to play and really shows football skills.
We often had 6 to 8 subs, which means that everyone had to get out on the pitch for 30 minutes or more, but everyone accepted it without complaining.
Last but not least, we won the large majority of our games, which had not been the case for years.
OUR NEXT AGM 14 JUNE 2026
(CONVOCATION)
Our Club is an Association 1901. “Big decisions” about our “shared second home” are made in the AGM. Decisions which we make include:
How much money we want to pay into the Club
What investments we want the Club to make
Who should represent us on the Management Committee
How we wish to structure the governance of our Club
In addition to making decisions, we also take part – the AGM is one opportunity to contribute to the discussion (and meet other Members). It may also encourage some of us to take a larger role in the Club, whether it be via volunteering for an “All Hands Day” to work in the garden, or contributing to a Section, or standing for election to the Management Committee.
Our next AGM is in 2 months, on 14th June. We have included a Draft Agenda with this note. It includes a Motion from the MC to modify our 'Statuts'. There will be important discussions also about padel. The Management Committee will be organising a discussion session for May to provide information on a potential padel project and to gather Member input.
If you would like to put forward a Motion for the Agenda, please submit it, with the name of the proposer and seconder, to by 5 pm on 14/5/2026 so that it can be included in the materials and on the electronic voting platform.
We look forward to seeing you all at the AGM.

We are happy to announce that you can book and play on our magnificent clay tennis courts.
Courts 1, 2, 4 & 5 are playable, and we hope to have Court 6 ready for play this week.
Please make the most of the excellent tennis weather in the days ahead.
But remember these important rules:
- Sweep and water the courts after you play.
- If the courts are very dry, water before and after you play.
- Wear tennis shoes for clay courts (no running shoes) to avoid damaging the surface.
- When the weather is wet, do not play on the courts even if you find the doors unlocked.
- If you do play on the courts when they are soaked, you risk damaging them by leaving deep footprints in the clay, which creates an uneven surface, leading to bad bounces and the risk of twisted ankles and knees.
- The courts are expensive to repair. Please treat them - and your fellow tennis players - with respect.
- And remember, white tennis attire, please.
We look forward to seeing you all on court soon!
The Tennis Committee
