Membership fees and Information

GENERAL CONDITIONS & SUBSCRIPTION RATES 2010

The following rates apply to the calendar year of 2010.

ENTRANCE FEES

An Entrance Fee is payable by each adult member when joining the Club. This currently stands at 750 € for the Adults and Senior members and at 260 € for Young Adults. Juniors, Children, and Infant members do not pay the Entrance Fee. The Entrance Fee must be paid as soon as membership has been accepted. This fee will be refunded by 50% if a member is obliged (e.g. for professional reasons) to leave the Club within 12 months of joining. 

SUBSCRIPTION FEES

This is the yearly subscription which gives the member access to the club and its facilities. Members who are accepted mid-year will pay a pro-rata fee. Members who are are obliged to leave the Club for professional reasons during the year will receive a partial refund. No refund is possible after 30th September.

GOLF Membership of Villarceaux Golf club is possible at reduced rates through the Club. A separate form must be completed and must be approved by the Golf Committee. A section fee of 13 € for over 18's and 8 € for under 18's must be paid.

FULL MEMBER applies to all members using the main sports facilities (squash, tennis, cricket, etc.)

SOCIAL MEMBER applies to all members not using the sports facilities. A social member may only use the facilities of the Clubhouse and the swimming-pool.

ADULT MEMBERSHIP applies to all Members over the age of 30 (on January 1st 2010) up to the age of retirement. Adult Members must remain full members for a period of at least 3 years after joining the Club.

SENIOR MEMBERSHIP applies to Members who have both retired and have reached the age of 60 on January 1st 2010. Working seniors still pay the full adult membership rate.

YOUNG ADULT MEMBERSHIP applies to Club Members aged 18-30 inclusive on January 1st 2010.

JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP applies to Club Members aged 11 to 17 inclusive on January 1st 2010. Upon reaching the age of 18 Club Members' children are recommended to apply for membership in their own right. No Entrance Fee will then be required.

CHILD MEMBERSHIP applies to Club Members aged 5 to 10 inclusive on January 1st 2010.

INFANT MEMBERSHIP applies to Club Members aged under the age of 5 on January 1st 2010. Subscriptions are payable in the first calendar year after the child's 1st birthday.

SEASONAL MEMBERSHIP gives limited and seasonal access to the club. It is available for cricket, football, hockey, squash and lacrosse. Use of the Club is restricted to the recognized season of the sport chosen. Use of any other facilities (e.g. tennis, swimming-pool) is tolerated on payment of the appropriate fee.

COUNTRY MEMBERSHIP is reserved for Club Members actually residing over 100 km from the Club. Proof of residence must be provided. Country Members are entitled to 6 social visits, without payment, per annum. On these occasions, use of the tennis courts is also permitted.

TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIP is available for Members' House Guests or persons residing in the Paris area for less than 1 year. Applications should be addressed to the Membership Committee. If the application is accepted, the full adult membership will be charge taking into account the pro-rata fee if the application arrives mid-year.
