The SAC adult and junior football teams had mixed fortunes against Vésinet. SAC’s U-14 team saved the club’s honour with a tense 2-1 victory against Vésinet. The visitors proved too strong for the men’s team despite a valiant second-half comeback: final score 8-1. SAC U-9s also battled hard but succumbed  7-2.

In SAC’s victory of the day played in glorious autumn conditons, the U-14 boys fought back from 1-0 down thanks to a long-range strike from Sam Mangaserian and, with the last kick of the match, a stunning twist-and-turn hooked shot by Luc Wisman.

Thanks to Gerald Strouts for this magnificent selection of photos.
