Please find attached the lesson and hands of the February Workshop with a small correction on Hand no. 2 where it should have been North who opened 1 Diamond and subsequently became the declarer of 3 No Trumps.

At first glance, this might have seemed a fairly straightforward lesson, but in fact the question is quite complex, so those who attended (and of course any others who are interested) should please take the trouble of reading through the notes more than once in order to digest all the information it contains, particularly as the sort of situation we dealt with comes up very often.

Now to our March bridge dates: our dinner and evening tournament will be on Tuesday 12 March; for our meal, we will be having Chicken fillet served with green beans and baked potatoes and, for dessert, Mango and strawberry tart. (Please sign up with Anne - ).

There will be a Beginners Class at 7 pm on Thursday 21st.

Our daytime workshop will be on Friday 29 March (please contact Claude - ); the subject will be Forcing 3rd suit (3ème couleur forcing).
