Just a quick reminder about the tournament next Tuesday 12th. We only have about 5 or 6 pairs for the moment, so we're hoping more of you will be signing up in the near future.

For our dinner, we will be having Home-made vegetable soup before the main course of chicken fillet, which will be followed by a mango and strawberry tart.

Our Workshop, at the end of the month on Friday 29 March, will be dealing with the Forcing third suit (in French: 3e couleur forcing) which we have come across by chance in recent lessons on other subjects. It's a very useful convention to know and not too difficult to learn, so we'd encourage as many of you as possible to attend.

Anne Raynaud will be giving a series of lessons for complete beginners as of Thursday 21st March at 7pm. for which we will be charging €10 per lesson. We have tried to reach out to all Club members but I'm not absolutely sure everyone has seen or read the message in the newsletter or on the website. If anyone you know is interested and hasn't already contacted Jenny Pratt, please do tell them about it. It would be a shame to miss this opportunity as it's not easy to find courses like this for people starting from scratch, especially with such a nice teacher as Anne Raynaud!
