We'll be holding the next edition of the Classic Car Day at the Club on Sunday 15 September featuring the Classic Car Concours d'Elegance, the Old Racquets Tennis tournament, plus Food Trucks and Tea-time, and fun for all the family!

The 1st tournament of the season will be on Tuesday 17 September at 2.30 pm - under 2 weeks from now. Please let Jenny know if you are available and can take part; and also if you would like us to find you a partner. The tournament will be followed by a cocktail, for which we will be charging €5 as usual. A quiz on  (Ouvertures Fortes) is in the main article, which we could go through before the tournament, at 2 pm.

The All Hands on Deck event (principally gardening this time) is organized and supervised by Roxane Girault: all volunteers should report to her on arrival.

Relax, dance and enjoy a low-key Friday evening once a month; next is Friday 27 September from 8 pm to 11:30 pm. Paddy will provide the music. Bring something for a sucré or salé potluck The bar will remain open all evening.

Junior Cricket training restarted on Saturday, the 24th of August at 10 am! It will continue every Saturday until the 21st of September, followed by the parents vs kids match on the 28th.

We have been very busy over the summer discussing how we can introduce more activities for children of all ages at the club and how we can make sure that parents can have some child-free time at the club during the weekends. The playroom has been restocked with toys and books and given a little makeover! (See photo in the main article) If any parent wants to join the WhatsApp group dedicated to children at the club, wants to discuss anything child-related or has any suggestions, please email . We are looking forward to making some exciting announcements very soon!

The Section's Summer Open Eclectic Competition is open and running from 1 July to 30 August at the Villarceaux Golf Club.
Participants submitted 6 scorecards during this period from which a best composite score was calculated. The winners were:
