POOL, SUMMER EVENT … AND KEEPING THE MOMENTUM!

We have been sending regular Flashes on the pool and the summer event. This Flash covers both and how they tie to our ability to keep improving the Club, and a small “ask”.
The Club is looking great … thanks to our staff (Caroline, Isobel, Carole) and so many volunteers who have been working on making things look great (Aymerick on interiors, Christine, Roxane, Francois on the tables and chairs). That, coupled with the winter rains, makes our forest setting particularly verdant this year.
And, with the great weather allowing work to advance, our pool is starting to look like a pool again. The gel coat liner was applied today.

It now just remains to install and hook up the filtration system, fill the pool with water, and get the surrounds and hedge back into shape. We continue to target the first week of June, while pushing to get this done as fast as possible (our contractors have been great, working on Public Holidays and Saturdays). This has been an incredible effort by the pool team, led by David Stabat.

On the 17th of May, we will be able to show off the best of our Club to ourselves, and to potential New Members. We continue to be able to further invest in the Club (padel, road renovation, squash court renovation, gym upgrade, new pool furniture, our current “chef” as a permanent feature, …) to the extent we welcome new Members to the Club.
So please come along and bring your guests … This will be a great day with a forecast for gorgeous weather, a traditional British BBQ (😉) from L’Entente, music and fun from noon to sundown and beyond. The Management Team is organizing tours of the Club for potential New Members, and there will be incentives for people to join on the day so that they get to enjoy the entire Summer at SAC. All organized by our very own volunteers, led by Rasmus, who have been hard at work for many months.
