Voting on the motions debated at this Year's AGM on Sunday, 15 June will be online and will start at midday on Friday, 20 June and end at 6:35 pm on Friday, 27 June.
Details of the procedure will be circulated on Friday to eligible members.

Who will be crowned King of the Squash Court? On Saturday, 21 June, the King's Squash Cup is back. Our annual tournament will see the 16 top Ile-de-France players battling it out on the courts, hoping to become the new "King of the Court". Come and show your support for our 4 own SAC knights who are up to defend the SAC colours and the crown!

Tennis News - Tennis Mix-In Sunday 22 June at 2:30 pm

The Tennis Mix-In this Sunday.will start as usual at 2:30 pm.
Just register by court #1 at 2:15 for a 2:30 pm start (first come, first served). We'll assign partners so everyone gets a good game during the afternoon as well as a chance to meet other tennis players with some friendly women's, men's and/or mixed doubles.

Hot News from Tennis Academy Ambition
* Registration for the 2025/6 coaching season will begin soon
* Summer Camps: Registration is still open, a few places are available, and there's an extra week from 21 to 25 July. (But only 6 places left from 7 to 11 July)
* Group classes will end on the weekend of 28/29 June and resume at the beginning of September.

On Sunday, 22 June, the SAC will host a Greek dinner, with great food from a Greek caterer and a guaranteed Mediterranean atmosphere with the live group Parfum de Grèce! Come and enjoy the Club, the food and its gardens, which are beautiful at this time of year!

SAC Junior Cricket: the new season

If you haven't already enrolled, please fill out the SAC Junior Cricket  Registration Form.

Players urgently needed to form a team to play in the La Rochelle Summer Cricket Tournament on 16 & 17 August (See the poster here.)

Bridge News - Tuesday 17 June Tournament Results

Here are the results of Tuesday's Individual Tournament - see the main article for full details by line and combined.
Warmest congratulations to our big winner - Dougie, 1st overall and 1st in the West line with 65.2%; and also to the winners of the other lines: Noelle in North with 60.42%, June in South with 57.94% and Danielle in East with 57.66%.
Raymond Natanson presented the Cups: Ghislaine Dubau, winner of the H. Natanson cup, ,and  Christian Kief, winner of the Fair Play Cup.
Many thanks to to Raymond Natanson for presiding over our prize ceremony, to Anne Raynaud, Joan Cosgrove, Maureen Long and Nadine Jasserand for their help with the tournament, and to Christine Butterworth and Carole Gressier for their help with the cocktail; and to all the rest of you for lending a hand in clearing away and re-placing the furniture.
The next tournament will be in September, but we can still get together in the meantime for more relaxed bridge on Mondays and Tuesdays, rubber bridge at the weekend or any other time.

Children's News: Saturday Chess lessons

The new chess season has started, and the lessons (on Saturdays) are reserved for members who have signed up; please don’t join the lessons if you haven’t paid. Those who expressed interest in chess lessons have divided the cost of the lessons among themselves.


Changing Room lockers available

One large locker is available in the Men's changing room.
Two large lockers are available in the Women's changing room.
From May 1st to the end of August the pro rata rate is: Large locker: €58

It's BBQ time again

Yes, time for BBQing! Please make your reservation well in advance at the bar or over the phone so the staff can prepare it.
Pricing: BBQ: 28€ - includes charcoal and tools; Charge per person (plates, glasses, cutlery): 1€; Corkage:  wine 4.50€; soft drinks 1€.
The Club's closing times in May are 9 pm from Sunday to Thursday and 10 pm on Fridays and Saturdays. (A couple of hours later in summer.)

Our traditional Club teatime is back again from 4 pm to 5.30 pm on weekends. Come and join us for a nice hot cup of tea with biscuits and cakes in the Clubhouse.
