OUR NEXT AGM 14 JUNE 2026
(CONVOCATION)
Our Club is an Association 1901. “Big decisions” about our “shared second home” are made in the AGM. Decisions which we make include:
How much money we want to pay into the Club
What investments we want the Club to make
Who should represent us on the Management Committee
How we wish to structure the governance of our Club
In addition to making decisions, we also take part – the AGM is one opportunity to contribute to the discussion (and meet other Members). It may also encourage some of us to take a larger role in the Club, whether it be via volunteering for an “All Hands Day” to work in the garden, or contributing to a Section, or standing for election to the Management Committee.
Our next AGM is in 2 months, on 14th June. We have included a Draft Agenda with this note. It includes a Motion from the MC to modify our 'Statuts'. There will be important discussions also about padel. The Management Committee will be organising a discussion session for May to provide information on a potential padel project and to gather Member input.
If you would like to put forward a Motion for the Agenda, please submit it, with the name of the proposer and seconder, to by 5 pm on 14/5/2026 so that it can be included in the materials and on the electronic voting platform.
