Pilates and Step & Sculpt

There will be classes this Saturday (17/2) and Monday (19/2) but then a pause until classes resume on Saturday 9 March.
As usual, you can contact Pam at  to sign up and stay tuned to your emails for class confirmations and updates.
Mondays: Step 10:00; Sculpt 11::00. Wednesdays: Zoom Pilates 9:30; SAC 2:30 pm Pilates Mat - Beginner/Intermediate. Saturdays: 9:45 Pilates Mat; 11:00 Pilates Mat Intermediate/Advanced. 12:30 Step.

Golf Section News - It's Subs time again!

The 2024 Section subscription is now due.
Following the vote at the last Section AGM, for Section and Villarceaux members this amounts to 60 euros. The fee for Section membership without Villarceaux membership is 30 euros.
Payment details have been sent to existing members. Anyone wishing to join the Golf Section should contact .


TGI Friday fun - next one on Friday 1 March

Relax, dance and enjoy a low-key Friday evening once a month; next is Friday 1 March from 8 pm to 11:30 pm. Live music with Paddy Sherlock. Bring something for a sucré or salé potluck. Non-members welcome (10€). The bar will remain open all evening. More info from section heads: Libby Macintyre and Georgina Marrison.

Tennis News - Licences

The Tennis Committee would like to thank deeply our Vice President Gaëtan together with Georgina Marrison and Roland Tchertoff from the Management Committee to have been able to renew all the club members’ tennis licenses with the French Tennis Federation  (more than 300 licenses) thus allowing everyone to get Roland Garros tickets on time and to participate to the various tennis competitions in “Ile de France”.
That has been an enormous amount of work done in emergency and within less than a week's time…

1) Website: SAC CC now has its own website: https://standardathletic.play-cricket.com/home
2) Junior Cricket: Girish Dharmapurikar stepped down as junior coach in June 2023. Andrew Macintyre returned temporarily and will be replaced by an existing junior parent Adhavan Manoranjan. Thanks to Grisih for the past 3 and a half years and to Andrew for stepping up during his well-earned retirement. 


Taekwondo News

We have now reached 10 subscriptions (only girls from 6 to 12 years old). We are very pleased with this first step and hope adults will now join up for an additional Saturday afternoon session. See this article for more information about Taekwondo and read on for some photos from recent courses.

Gardening Team news

All the newly prepared flower beds around the tennis courts have been given a final layer of wood chippings to keep the weeds down. 600 bulbs have been planted ready to pop up in the Spring. 11 red roses have been purchased and are ready to plant immediately by the gardening team. The work was financed 50% by Anke’s collection. Thank you to Linda, Jane and Christiane.


Teatime at weekends

Teatime is an important cultural and traditional asset at the SAC.
Every Saturday and Sunday from 4 to 5:30 PM the House Committee proposes biscuits from UK and other goodies with Janine's help once in a while.
Please come and enjoy this traditional teatime along with a warm cup of tea.
