The Tennis Comittee has undertaken a ‘Diag Technique’ of our clay courts with the French Tennis Federation experts this week.
They will be back for more tests at the beginning of winter but these preliminary tests have shown our courts to be in a much better state than we originally thought. The main message from the FTT was that they need to be watered as much as possible and preferably after every match. Great news!

After a two month delay to the season, Saturday 11th July saw the return of cricket to SAC with old rivals Thoiry the visitors. After Andrew Jackson won the toss, SAC chose to bat and Henry and Omar made a solid start taking SAC to 40 without loss, but after a flurry of wickets, Imran, Trevin and Yassin in the middle order pushed SAC's score to 155 all out. Unfortunately Thoiry comfortably chased it down with a solid batting display. Despite the result, there was a great feeling all round that the season had finally got under way! Read on for the full report and the home fixture list.

The good news is that while the Club’s indoor facilities remain closed, we are now able to offer members access to most of the club’s outdoor areas on a much less constricted basis, within the limits of the guidelines and recommendations of the authorities and sporting federations - effective immediately. (Don't forget to sign the rules acceptance form...)

The only entry to the Club will be by the 'cricket' gate which will be manned. Nobody without an ADSL tennis reservation will be admitted.
