Warm congratulations to Joyce and Anne (again!) with 60.21% in NS; to Monika and Jean-Francois with 59.35% in EW; the next highest scores were by Ghislaine and Noelle with 56.46 in EW and Monica and Joan with 55.03% also in EW.

It was great to have 7 complete tables. Congratulations go to Ghislaine and Raphael, 1st in NS with 65.23%, but also to Jenny and Marie-Helene, who came 2nd with 64.71%; and in East-West: Jane and Yves, 1st with 54.34% (but 61.67% at the SAC) and 2nd Claude and Dougie with 51.75% (SAC: 58.75%) and very close 3rds Richard and Leon with 51.68% (SAC: 61.25%). As promised, there will be a prize for the 2nd to last pair: Christiane and Linda.
The winners of Tuesday's tournament (23/4) in East/West were Nicole (Devaux) and Jean-Paul (Ruzé) with a massive score of 66.25% and in North/South with an excellent score of 58.75% Jane (Brooks) and Yves (Delserieys). Second in NS were Jean (Pal) and Nicole (Doyle) with 53.33% and in EW - Richard and Leon with 50.42% and, on their heels, Claude and Dougie and also Marie-Claire and Catherine (Boyer) with exactly 50%. Over 50 juniors participated in last Saturday's matches against the British School. The SAC won 2, and the British School won 1 🎉

We regret to announce that Ron Caseley died peacefully on 25 April in a care home in London.
Our deepest sympathy goes to his daughters, Caroline and Annette.
The funeral will be held on Thursday, 29 May at 2 pm at Islington crematorium ( 278 High Road, East Finchley, LONDON N2 9AG).
