Rugbytots will be coming to the Club on Saturday June 14^th to give FREE trial classes and speak to any interested parents.
During sessions run by Rugbytots, children will develop their motor skills through fun games designed to develop their agility, dexterity and self-confidence.
Children will learn how to pass and kick balls through fun games that appeal to their imagination. They will storm pirate ships, escape quicksand, explore the jungle, put out fires together and enjoy many sporting adventures. Our priority is for children to have fun and develop their self-confidence, while instilling a team spirit.

Hot News from Tennis Academy Ambition
* There will be a Tennis Festival from 2 to 5 pm this Saturday, 14 June
* Registration for the 2025/6 coaching season will begin next week
* Summer Camps: Registration is still open, a few places available, and there's an extra week from 21 to 25 July. (But oOnly 6 places left from 7 to 11 July)
* Group classes will end on the weekend of 28/29 June and resume at the beginning of September. Group lessons will not be available on this Saturday between 1 and 5 pm due to the Tennis Festival.

The next Little Musicians/Petits Musiciens session will be on Sunday, 15 June, from 11 am to 12:30 pm, with Brunch from 11am to 2 pm.
Aigerim (music teacher) will be with her Crafting and English teacher. At the end of the session, the children will leave with something creative for their mothers.

To avoid a clash with the AGM, the Tennis Mix-In this Sunday.will start earlier at 10:30 am.
Just register by court #1 at 10:15 for a 10:30 am start (first come, first served). We'll assign partners so everyone gets a good game during the afternoon as well as a chance to meet other tennis players with some friendly women's, men's and/or mixed doubles.

This year's Club AGM will be held in around 5 weeks on Sunday, the 15th of June at 3 pm. The meeting will be "in-person", at the Club. Voting will be conducted electronically.
For new (and less new) Members of the Club, many elements around the AGM are defined in Article 10 of the Club Statutes, and Section 8 of the Club Rules, which are available at www.saclub.org in the “Members” section. The draft agenda is available for download here as a docx file.

The traditional individual tournament will take place on Tuesday, 17 June at 2.30 pm. As you know, you do not need to find a partner for this tournament; everyone will use a very simple bidding system and will change partners and opponents after every hand. The tournament will be followed by a cocktail and a prize-giving ceremony for the winners of our 3 different Cups.

Lucie and Cyril and members from Le Glee Club de Ville d’Avray will sing a variety of popular English and French songs. Bring your friends and some food, and come dance and sing!

On Sunday, 22 June, the SAC will host a Greek dinner, with great food from a Greek caterer and a guaranteed Mediterranean atmosphere with the live group Parfum de Grèce! Come and enjoy the Club, the food and its gardens, which are beautiful at this time of year!

The annual Tennis White Dinner with DJ and live music will take place on Saturday, 28 June, as a traditional celebration of summer and tennis finals day.

While the senior cricketers were on their weekend away in Kent, the junior cricketers took on the Boulogne Rising Stars on Sunday 25 May and won fairly comfortably. On Friday 30 May, wth the football season winding down, a joint session gave all the kids a chance to try each other's sports. The young cricketers emerged victorious in both sports!

The Standard tennis team secured promotion to Division 2 on Sunday, 1 June, capping off an almost flawless campaign with four wins and a draw.
The team — made up of Benjamin Sharp, Melvyn Cooke, Thimothée Sharp, Alban Vicarini, and Romain Vicarini — sealed qualification by defeating Rueil this weekend. Benjamin Sharp and Tim Sharp won their singles matches, and two doubles victories — a special mention for doubles specialist Melvyn — rounded off a great team performance!
