ONF warn of high wind and tree damage warning in place from 6 PM on Thursday 8 Jan until MondayThe ONF (Office national des forêts) has contacted the Club with a warning related to Storm Goretti. The ONF asks people to refrain from walking in the forest from 6 pm on Thursday, 8 January, with high winds expected to persist throughout Friday. There is a risk of falling trees and branches. The risk of falling tree branches reaching the ground persists long after the storm, including this weekend. Please, therefore, refrain from walking in the forest. The Club also warns you of the risk from falling trees when parking your cars at the Club during this period. Gusts are forecast up to 90 kph, peaking overnight on Thursday/Friday. (This information has already been distributed to members on Thursday afternoon/evening.)
