Update on Insurance and Investment plans

image

Dear Members,

First of all, a very Happy (belated) New Year to you all from the Management team.
It seems such a long time since the AGM, with so many "moving parts", given the major storm in July.  We therefore thought it timely to update you on where we stand on the continued investments in the Club.
Bottom line: we expect that we will be able to invest a further €200K in the Club this year, repairing storm damage and opening up a cost-effective option for padel, if (and only if) Members wish to see this new sport at SAC.
The July storm caused well over €150K in damage, which has made the insurance process particularly demanding in terms of documentation requirements, process complexity and length.
Please see the details of our plans in the main article.

Little Musicians are back with Brunch - Sunday 25 January

image

The Little Musicians/Petits Musiciens start the year on Sunday, 25 January, from 11 am to 12:30 pm, with Brunch from 11 am to 2 pm.
Sign up using this HelloAsso link. Don't forget that if a child is signed up for Breakfast/Brunch together with a parent, they have free access to the 1.5-hour class. If you don’t want to sign up for breakfast/brunch, it is €25 per child for the class. It is easier and cheaper if you reserve your place before Friday evening. Prices are more expensive at the bar on the day, and you risk the class being full.

Lost Property - collect this weekend

image

Members who have lost property are reminded come and collect any lost items from the baskets in the changing rooms and on the rack upstairs by this weekend. Any remaining items will be disposed of on Monday, 26 January.

Keep the Club's traditions alive and enjoy a nice (hot) cup of tea with biscuits from the UK from 4 pm to 5.30 pm at the Club at weekends!
