Swimming News - the pools closed on Monday 6 October Dear Members, Please be advised that the club’s swimming pools closed on Monday, 6 October, for the winter season. This annual closure during the cold season helps protect the facilities from harsh weather conditions and allows us to carry out essential maintenance work — including the installation of new "margelles" in the coming weeks. We hope you enjoyed this summer season with our newly renovated pool, and we look forward to welcoming you back next spring. Thank you for your understanding. Should you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact us. Best regards, The Management Committee |

Old Rackets Tournament (21/9): prize winners show that fashion and tennis run in the family Our annual Old Rackets Tournament took place under the last rays of summer sunshine on Sunday, 21 September with the Marrison and Prat families carrying off the fashion and sporting trophies.Â
Under the masterful organisation of Philippe Ayme-Jouve, it was Benoit Prat and his nephew Antoine (see photo in main article) who triumphed in the final. Runners-up were Kevin Jackson and Henrik Jessen.Â
As for the most elegantly dressed racketeers, it was Georgina Marrison with son Hugo who stole the show in their 1920s-style tennis kit. Suzanne Lenglen and Fred Perry would have been proud.
A big thank you to all who took part and to Mario Figueira de Ornelas for his super organisation of the Classic Car Day, providing an excellent backdrop -- among other things! -- to our tennis tournament,Â
