SAC Tennis signs off a sport-rich summer with Open Tournament finals.
The first edition of the SAC Open Tournament concluded this weekend with some engrossing final matches. The competition attracted more than a hundred players—adults and children—to SAC, giving members a taste of some highly competitive play.
Here are the results of the finals:
🏆 Men’s Final
Winner: Romain Ducasse (3/6)
Finalist: Eliot Dufour (4/6)
🏆 Women’s Final
Winner: Nadège Saramito (4/6)
Finalist: Oriane Lajoie (15)
We hope that next year that even more of our members will join the competition to improve SAC's chances of ending up on the winners' podium and fire up the tennis spirit at our club some more. This year's event was something of a dry run -- figuratively, not meteorologically -- so watch out for news early next summer for next year's event.
🏆A special thank you goes to our tournament referee, Conrad Coste, for his dedication and professionalism throughout the tournament.
👏 We would also like to acknowledge Sean Lafleur, Julie Luc and Victoria Migliore, who proudly flew the club’s colours, putting in some strong performances in several tough matches.
👏 And thanks also go to the team at Tennis Ambition for their valuable support in organising this year's tournament.
Thank you again to everyone who took part - players, organisers and spectators.
See you on court soon! 🎾
