It is Springtime, and the Club looks just great, thanks to the work of many the volunteers and staff. So it is time to have fun and show off our Club to our friends.
On May 17th, we will be hosting “The Standard Athletic Afternoon”, with all of the Club in use for this event.
* Fun from 12:30 onwards
* Come dressed in your interpretation of “Country Club Chic”
* For those arriving before 3 pm, a wonderful BBQ prepared by L’Entente (le British Brasserie) is included in the pre-3 pm ticket price
* Events throughout the day
- For kids, sports, bouncy castle, … and an afternoon disco
- For adults, live music and DJs, running all the way through to the sunset afterparty
- Of course, our very own bars (Queen’s Room and marquis), with our British beers, Pimms, and more
- Snacks, strawberries and cream, ice-cream, …
Please sign up for your tickets via HelloAsso at the Early Bird rate in April. Before 3 pm, including BBQ, for €35 for adults and €20 for under 12s (kids snacks available in place of BBQ). After 3 pm for €10. Invite your guests – non-Members are invited for just €5 more. Please be sure to sign up early … prices increase from May 1st onwards.
(The Club will be closed to other uses from 12:30 p.m. on the 17th, reopening as usual on 18th May).

Looking forward to a great day.
Last Saturday was our opportunity to show our Club at its finest. It looked great … thanks to our staff (Caroline, Isobel) and all the volunteers this spring (Aymerick for interiors, Christine, Roxane, Francois for the chairs, Andrew J, carpenter extraordinaire, and many more).
Benjamin and the marketing team sold over 600 tickets, making this the biggest event at the Club in many years
Lots of fun for kids young and old (bouncy castle, world-class music and DJs)
Great service … thanks to Isabelle, Carole and the entire B&R team.
41 new applicants to join the Club. Yes, 41! Thanks to Georgina and all the other volunteers for organising what was the largest recruiting event in many years for the Club.
All of this would have been impossible without Rasmus, who led the overall effort for the past 6 months, from conception to execution, supported by many volunteers (Benjamin, Edouard, Guillaume, Pierre, Andrew Mac, Aude, Emmanuel, Georgina, Lourdes, Quentin, and many more (apologies to those not mentioned) and Marie Polo as Manager)
