The tickets are for the day session Thursday, 28 May, on the centre court - Philippe Chatrier.

With the wet weather forecast for the days ahead, the Tennis Committee has decided to postpone the season-opening round-robin tournament, due this Saturday, to Sunday the following weekend. Fingers crossed for some dry weather.

The format for Sunday, 24 May, will be the same, with Philippe Ayme Jouve as our master of ceremonies. The programme is a 13:30 sign-in for a 14:00 start, with a finish around 17.00-30.

Most of the participants will have received the results from the Federation; the SAC Section results are in the main section. There were some tricky hands, and, as usual, if you click on the attachment to the FFB email called "livret", you will see the 4 hands that are commented.

Thank you all for coming and making up 9 tables! Thank you, Joan, Maureen, Anne, and everyone else who helped with preparations and clearing away; and thanks also to Christine, Carole and the young man behind the bar for their help with the cocktail.

The next (and last) tournament of the season will be an INDIVIDUAL on Tuesday, 16 June. We will go through a little quiz at 2 pm, and play will begin at 2.30. As you know, you will not need a partner, but the number of participants must be a multiple of 4, so some forward planning is required! Raymond Natanson will preside over the little prize-giving ceremony, which will be followed by a cocktail offered by the Bridge Section.

For the first time in France, Shaun Murphy, World Champion and Triple Crown winner, will cross the Channel for a truly exceptional private exhibition at the Standard Athletic Club. (See poster in main article)
On Friday, 29 May 2026, from 7:30 pm, this black-tie evening will blend refinement with world-class sport: a cocktail reception, a seated dinner, and an intimate exhibition led by one of snooker’s greatest names, in the presence of Eurosport.
With 50 places already reserved by the French Billiard Federation, the event's principal partner, attendance will be limited to around 90 guests, ensuring a rare and exclusive atmosphere.

A decade after hosting Steve Davis, the Club once again prepares for one of its most prestigious evenings.

We are now approaching capacity for the snooker event, with tickets selling quickly and only a limited number of seats remaining. We recommend reserving soon to avoid disappointment. • Golf Weekend Belledune 17-19 April: 3 excellent days of golf with wonderful weather on a beautiful course. The individual Stableford was won by Ebba Dean with a score of 38 stableford points, followed by Paul O’Mahoney and best gross by John McCallum. The scramble team competition was won by Ebba, Joyce & Claude Jacques and Ian Jones.

On Saturday, 30 May, we will show the UFA Champions League Final (PSG vs Arsenal) on the big screen in the Queens room.
Happy hour and finger food will be proposed.

The next Little Musicians/Petits Musiciens session will be on Sunday, 31 May, from 11 am to 12:30 pm, with Brunch from 11 am to 2 pm.
Book using this Hello Asso link. Don't forget that if a child is signed up for Breakfast/Brunch together with a parent, they have free access to the 1.5-hour class. If you don’t want to sign up for breakfast/brunch, it is €25 per child for the class. It is easier and cheaper if you reserve your place before Friday evening. Prices are more expensive at the bar on the day, and you risk the class being full.

It's tennis tournament time again. Players should have signed up for our annual internal tournament by Sunday, 27 April. 
Play will run from 28 April to 27 June, when we will host Finals Day -- and the White Dinner in the Rose Garden. 
We will be strict in scratching players who do not play their matches on time.

As requested by members, we have acquired some board games, which will be available to all to play. But may we ask people to please take care of the little pieces and put them back as they found them? The games will be stored in the cupboard by the microwave in the clubhouse.

A teacher from La Maison des Maths, a programme launched by the association En Revanche, hosts sessions at the Club every Saturday.
