Tennis News - Tournament Update - New Finals Day and White Dinner Saturday 27 June

image

With summer in full sweltering swing, don’t forget to sign up for Saturday’s White Dinner — three-course BBQ meal, glass of wine included - by visiting this HelloAsso link: SAC White Dinner 2026. The deadline is Friday night.
The dinner will follow a cocktail at around 6 pm for all the participants in this year’s Club tennis tournament, which is in its final stages — but which we won’t be able to finish on time by Saturday.
Many players have had trouble arranging matches — and the Tennis Committee has been too lenient in allowing extra time — while the extra-hot weather of the past week has made organising matches even more difficult.
For the State of Play in the tournament, see the main article.

Join us for a White Dinner and Dance at the SAC on Saturday, 27 June.
To celebrate summer in style, the Tennis Committee has the pleasure of organising a delicious three-course BBQ dinner (glass of wine included) in the Rose Garden with dancing afterwards.
Everything gets underway at 6 pm with dinner around 9 pm.
All members welcome and guests too. And don't forget to dress in white!

Little Musicians and Brunch - Sunday 28 June

image

The next Little Musicians/Petits Musiciens session will be on Sunday, 28 June, from 11 am to 12:30 pm, with Brunch from 11 am to 2 pm.
Book using this Hello Asso link. Don't forget that if a child is signed up for Breakfast/Brunch together with a parent, they have free access to the 1.5-hour class. If you don’t want to sign up for breakfast/brunch, it is €25 per child for the class. It is easier and cheaper if you reserve your place before Friday evening. Prices are more expensive at the bar on the day, and you risk the class being full.

Pilates and Step & Sculpt classes during the heat

image

Because of the heat, the classes and their times are very variable. Please contact Pam at  and stay tuned to your emails for class confirmations and updates to determine if and when your class is on.
(Normally Mondays: Step 10:00; Sculpt 11::00. Wednesdays: Zoom Pilates 9:30; SAC 2:30 pm Pilates Mat - Beginner/Intermediate. Saturdays: 9:45 Pilates Mat; 11:00 Pilates Mat Intermediate/Advanced. 12:30 Step.)

Rose Garden Sub-Committee

image

Our Club is an Association, providing lots of opportunities to get involved. Historically, gardening has been one activity that many people have enjoyed.
We are looking for a volunteer to coordinate this activity for the Rose Garden. This is a very visible part of the Club where a well-coordinated small group can make a massive difference.
If you are interested, please send a note to Rich at .

Swedish Club Partnership ends

image

The SAC has had a longstanding reciprocal relationship with the Cercle Suedois. They moved from their long-time home on the de Rivoli in 2024, and we have learned that they have now given up on a physical presence in Paris.

Our reciprocal visiting relationship has therefore, unfortunately, ended.

‍The Voting link for the AGM of Sunday 14 June is now active
