26/28 April Weekend at Étretat

The weather was a challenge for the weekend. But it was fine on Friday afternoon for the practice round and only rained late in most people’s rounds on Saturday. However, the fun competition on Sunday was called off because of the gale-force winds.

The men’s winner was John McCallum with 39 points with James Moore coming second with 37 points.  The women’s winner was Ebba Dohlman with 38 points and second was Muriel Jones with 34 points.
The Kiwi Cup (best Net) and Dean Trophy (best gross) both went to John McCallum.

The next weekend away is in mid-September at Omaha Beach.

AGM

At the AGM held on Friday 3 May, John McCallum was elected head of section and supported by David Colson and Frederic Thiriet in a new streamlined committee.

Golf Lessons

The Section will again run golf lessons at Meudon in the evenings of June and July. The exact dates have still to be confirmed with the Pro.
