Children's News: Saturday Chess lessons restart 8 March We have teamed up with the chess school, Club Echecs du Cavalier Rouge, to provide chess lessons for children. Every Saturday from 1 February, a chess instructor will be coming to give chess lessons and organise mini-tournaments. There will be two sessions: 10 am to noon and 1 - 3 pm, but there is no problem if a child can only join for part of a session. Email for more information or to sign up! We will be running a trial 8-week period from 1 Feb but excluding the school holidays - so no chess on Saturdays 15 or 22 Feb, nor on 1 March. Chess lessons will resume on Saturday, 8 March. There is also an option for adults, please let us know if you are interested by emailing . If you have signed up for the initial 8 weeks of chess, please pay the €30 fee via this HelloAsso link (if you haven’t already): https://www.helloasso.com/associations/standard-athletic-club/evenements/chess-the-sac See the poster in the main article or click here.

We have grouped the questions by themes and the whole survey should take around 10 minutes to complete. The deadline to complete the survey is Monday 10 March. We will collate and analyse the answers as soon as possible and communicate them to the Management Committee and members. Here is the link: SAC 2025 Tennis Survey.
