SAC Squash News

image

This past weekend, we held our Squash Challenge at the SAC, and we were delighted to see a strong turnout from our Squash Members, spreading both team spirit and early holiday cheer. Although the SAC narrowly fell to Montigny’s first squash team, the match was as close as a Christmas countdown—175 points to 146.
We were fortunate to have our young rising stars, Lucas and Sebastian, light up the scoreboard like a pair of festive ornaments. Montigny’s visit also gave us the chance to congratulate their player, Jérôme Rideau, last year’s King’s Cup winner and a certified “arbitre fédéral” for the French league. Jérôme kindly reminded us of the importance of keeping our courts in top condition for safe and enjoyable play. With that in mind, we’ve requested quotes from contractors to assess the squash courts, in coordination with the ongoing roofing work.
We look forward to seeing you back on court soon!
Wishing you a very Merry Christmas from the Squash Section! 🎄🥇🎾
