An anti-wasp specialist came on Sunday 17 July to deal with a wasp's nest that had been found on the Club House terrace.

The nest was eradicated with success and an additional check will be made this Wednesday to verify that no wasps remain between the wooden planks located above the Club House window panes.
In addition, a whole series of wasp traps have been installed around the swimming pool as well as on the terrace and in the various gardens around the Club.

They have already helped to eradicate hundreds of wasps with quite a few hornets.
We shall continue to monitor the traps regularly during the summer and refill them with a specially manufactured liquid.

Nevertheless, at the pool, it is safer and recommended to walk to the footbath keeping your shoes on to avoid getting stung under your feet.

With the heat, most of the wasps want to go and drink the water around the pool.
Please be careful when you go swimming though the wasp situation this year seems less serious than what it was back in 2003 during the August heatwave.
