The season isn’t quite over, but we’re delighted to share that the SAC team has finished 4th in its pool in the 2nd Île-de-France division — a fantastic achievement! A big congratulations to all the players for their commitment, team spirit, and the excellent level of squash displayed throughout the season. SAC Squash continues to strengthen its reputation as a respected club in Île-de-France.

We are also very grateful for the support we receive, particularly from staff members who kindly stay late on Tuesday evenings to make our matches possible. It’s always a pleasure to witness competitive play combined with excellent sportsmanship and friendly hosting, with access to food and drinks afterwards.

Our courts are heavily used by multiple activities, which reflects how active and vibrant the club is. As a result, they are naturally experiencing some wear and tear, and we hope that future improvements will help maintain the quality and safety that our players value. This has also been noted by visiting teams and official referees. We hope that improvements can be considered in due course so that the facilities continue to match the high level of play and spirit that define SAC Squash.

Given the active use of the courts, the Squash section is also exploring the possibility of implementing a booking system similar to the tennis section’s, which would allow players from both Teams 1 and 2 to enjoy fair and structured access to the courts.

Looking ahead to the 2026–2027 season, and with squash preparing for its Olympic debut, the league format will evolve slightly, allowing a second team to participate. We warmly welcome any interested members to come forward and express their desire to play competitive squash on Thursday nights — and to carry the Olympic torch high for SAC!

Thank you to everyone who supports SAC Squash — we look forward to finishing the season strongly!
