You will find attached the results of Thursday's tournament - warm congratulations to Monica and Jeanne, 1st in NS with 69.62% and to Murielle and Mary, 1st in EW with 59.17%. 2nd in NS were Michelle and John with 57.44% and in EW Elise and Muriel with 55.45%.

As you know, there was a bit of a mix-up with the boards - particularly the boards from 21 to 28 which started off on the wrong tables - but I have tried to adjust the results on these boards as far as I can, and I believe the results have not been affected too much.

I am attaching the 4 commented hands and the results of the quizz. Also you will note that the tournament bears the date of 8 October as this was the date it was designed to be used as a simultaneous tournament, but which I had to convert to a normal tournament as we played it on 18 Nov.

Please note our next tournament will be held on Tuesday 14 December at 3pm; it will be preceded by the Bridge Section AGM at 2pm (for Club members only), and at the end of the afternoon the Section will invite you all to a cocktail. I do hope many of you will be able to come!
