The Tennis Committee

For the first time in France, Shaun Murphy, World Champion and Triple Crown winner, will cross the Channel for a truly exceptional private exhibition at the Standard Athletic Club. (See poster in main article)
On Friday, 29 May 2026, from 7:30 pm, this black-tie evening will blend refinement with world-class sport: a cocktail reception, a seated dinner (see Menu), and an intimate exhibition led by one of snooker’s greatest names, in the presence of Eurosport.
With 50 places already reserved by the French Billiard Federation, the event's principal partner, attendance will be limited to around 90 guests, ensuring a rare and exclusive atmosphere.

A decade after hosting Steve Davis, the Club once again prepares for one of its most prestigious evenings.

We are now approaching capacity for the snooker event, with tickets selling quickly and only a limited number of seats remaining. We recommend reserving soon to avoid disappointment. On Saturday, 30 May, we will show the UFA Champions League Final (PSG vs Arsenal) on the big screen in the Queens room.

• Golf Weekend Belledune 17-19 April: 3 excellent days of golf with wonderful weather on a beautiful course. The individual Stableford was won by Ebba Dean with a score of 38 stableford points, followed by Paul O’Mahoney and best gross by John McCallum. The scramble team competition was won by Ebba, Joyce & Claude Jacques and Ian Jones.

The next Little Musicians/Petits Musiciens session will be on Sunday, 31 May, from 11 am to 12:30 pm, with Brunch from 11 am to 2 pm.
Book using this Hello Asso link. Don't forget that if a child is signed up for Breakfast/Brunch together with a parent, they have free access to the 1.5-hour class. If you don’t want to sign up for breakfast/brunch, it is €25 per child for the class. It is easier and cheaper if you reserve your place before Friday evening. Prices are more expensive at the bar on the day, and you risk the class being full.

Most of the participants will have received the results from the Federation; the SAC Section results are in the main section. There were some tricky hands, and, as usual, if you click on the attachment to the FFB email called "livret", you will see the 4 hands that are commented.

The next (and last) tournament of the season will be an INDIVIDUAL on Tuesday, 16 June. We will go through a little quiz at 2 pm, and play will begin at 2.30. As you know, you will not need a partner, but the number of participants must be a multiple of 4, so some forward planning is required! Raymond Natanson will preside over the little prize-giving ceremony, which will be followed by a cocktail offered by the Bridge Section.

It's tennis tournament time again. Players should have signed up for our annual internal tournament by Sunday, 27 April. 
Play will run from 28 April to 27 June, when we will host Finals Day -- and the White Dinner in the Rose Garden. 
We will be strict in scratching players who do not play their matches on time.

A teacher from La Maison des Maths, a programme launched by the association En Revanche, hosts sessions at the Club every Saturday.
