Welcome to the SAC

The Standard Athletic Club is hidden in the forest of Meudon and easily accessible from Paris.

We are an international English-speaking sports and social Club set in exceptional surroundings.

This Club is the perfect place for all the family to play sports or just relax and enjoy the social life.

Club and Bar Opening Times

Club hours
Monday to Thursday: 7:30 am to 8 pm; Friday: 7:30 am to 9 pm
Saturday: 8:45 am to 9 pm; Sunday: 9 am to 8 pm
Bar hours
(Bar closes 15 minutes before the Club closes)
Monday to Thursday: 11 am to 7:45 pm; Friday: 11 am to 8:45 pm
Saturday: 10 am to 8:45 pm; Sunday: 10 am to 7:45 pm.

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR CLOSURE

As happens every year, the Club will be closed over the holiday period while our staff take a vacation and we complete the end-of-year audit of bar stocks, with the Club Censor, our internal auditor.
The Club will be completely closed from Wednesday, December 24, until Friday, January 2, 2026, inclusive, reopening on Saturday, 3 January
(Note that the Bar will be closed on Monday and Tuesday, 22 & 23 December)

Storms aside, the Club is in great shape, with so much going on (Camp-Out, Greek event, tennis tournament, cricket match, football training, great food … and that was just last weekend!).

If you have friends with an “SAC profile”...

...and you introduce them to the Club before the August holiday (deadline for new Member sign-up, 31/7/2025), you will receive a discount on 2025/6 Membership (€250 for the first Full adult, €100 for the first Young Adult (under 40 years old); €150 for the second Full Adult, €75 for the second and subsequent Young Adults, up to a maximum of €400).
