The 2024 Paralympics opened on Wednesday 28 August in Paris.
As a child, Charlotte Fairbank was an active sporting member of the Club and learnt to play tennis there. Following a bad accident at the age of 15, Charlotte later discovered Wheelchair Tennis.
Charlotte has recently been featured in several items about the Paralympics Wheelchair Tennis on French television.
She participated in the Wheelchair Tennis Doubles event on Friday evening with doubles partner Emmanuelle MORCH, French N°1, unfortunately losing to a South African pair. Sad to say, Charlotte lost her Singles match to the Brit Lucy Shuker 6/4 7/5 on Saturday afternoon.
