In the Open Doubles, Thomas and Simon Lavigne won against Lucien Jourdan and Jean-Paul Ruzé in two straight frames, they are set to play Andrew Taylor and Roland Tchertoff in the next round.

Team 1 continue their winning streak with a great win at home against La Garenne 4/1 and stay 3rd in the league. Another difficult night for Team 2 who lost 4/1 away at Cercle de l'Union Interalliée.
Another good victory for Team 1 playing away against our neighbours from Chaville; they won 3/2 and remain 3rd in the league. But Team 2 playing at home against St Cloud with only 4 players had another tough night - they lost 5/0.
In the Open Singles, Paul Willey beat son Joris to move into the semis, where he will meet the winner of David Colson and Hugo Marrison's quarter-final. The Willeys were also busy in the Doubles, beating Simon and Hugo Marrison and will meet Dougie Anderson and Emmanuel Bertrand in the semis.
The Bridge Section has two teams in the FFB Interclub competition, and we are delighted to report that they are progressing well in their respective Divisions.
On Sunday, the football team played against Les Italiens, but unfortunately lost 4-5 in a high-scoring game.
Last Sunday the Adult Football team lost 3-6 playing against Ludovic Cohen's team. SAC goal scorers were Paul Bowyer, Declan Thiriet and Vassili de Rosen. We next play the British School on the 10th of March.
The Section played a "3 Clubs and a Putter" Stableford competition on Saturday, 9th February at Villarceaux in fine weather for the season! Sue Hall won the Ladies' and Frédérick Thiriet the Men's, both with 32 points, very commendable for the formula. Read on for full (revised) results.
Another victory for Team 1 who won 3/2 at home against Squash 95 and remain 3rd in the league. But a tough night for Team 2 who lost 5/0 at Stade Français, one of the best team in the league.
13 SAC Squash Section members gathered last Saturday 2nd for their annual Internal Tournament. Alec Maurey emerging victorious 2/1 over Nicolas Rosset in an exciting final.
